Maori Inspired Stylized Manaia Aged Bone Fish Hook Necklace

Hand carved solid bone. This item can be worn in either direction.

Comes on a one size fits all, hand braided, cord with sliding slip knots so it can be adjusted to a variety of lengths. Upon request, I will put yours on a fixed length cord with a toggle and loop closure.

I have developed my process to give the bone an aged look. Please note that no two pieces of bone will age in the exact same way. Please anticipate variations consistent with this fact.

The fish hook represents good luck, prosperity, abundance, and safe journey. The Manaia is a mythical bird-like creature that is held to be a protector over land, sea and air.
